SuDuo is where a development team keeps its requirements and discussions, and where each developer turns a requirement into a Codex session on their own computer.

Requirements, attachments and discussion rooms live on a server your team deploys. Repositories, Codex sessions and model credentials stay on each developer’s computer, with no SuDuo service in between. There is no hosted version either: the installation you run is all there is.

SuDuo is in early access. There is no installer yet, so the client runs from source, and the server has no administrator or invitation system yet, so keep it on a private network or VPN, or behind a reverse proxy with access control. It is tested on macOS (Apple silicon) and on Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04 servers; Windows and Intel Macs are supported but have had less testing.

The name

速舵sù duò

SuDuo's Chinese name is 速舵, and it sounds almost the same. 速 means speed and 舵 is a ship's helm. The idea is that AI brings the speed, and people keep their hands on the helm.
